Participants for this training must possess a valid HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate, which should be submitted prior to attending the course.
Participants should be at least 14 years old to enrol (individuals under 18 must provide a consent form signed by a parent or guardian).
Must live in and have a Western Australian residential address..
Applicants are required to demonstrate good language, literacy, and numeracy skills, as our courses include straightforward English, videos, photographs, and interactive questions to maximise comprehension and skill development pertinent to their job role.
If you believe you will need support due to language, literacy, and numeracy skills, please contact our main office prior to enrolment to discuss your learning needs. A language, literacy, and numeracy (LNN) assessment may be carried out before enrolment to determine if the applicant needs additional LNN support during training.
All trainees must present identification at the course, with photo ID being the minimum requirement (e.g., Driver’s License, Passport, or similar) alongside 100 points of identification.

The Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy HLTAID015 course adopts a blended learning approach, starting with an online pre-course segment followed by a 4-hour in-class practical session. The pre-study includes multiple-choice questions, which can be done on paper or online.
The pre-course study typically requires 4-5 hours, varying according to each individual’s personal circumstances and commitments. It involves reading modules and then applying the acquired knowledge in a final online exam. This pre-course work must be completed before attending the in-person training.
The course delivery combines structured lectures, workshops, case studies, videos, practical tasks, and workplace application. Activities for both individuals and groups, along with various assessment tasks, are integrated throughout the course.
The trainers and assessors responsible for delivering our course are accredited experts in their respective fields. They hold the requisite qualification(s) to deliver this course and meet the relevant professional experience requirements in line with the 2025 Standards Credential Policy.
To obtain a nationally recognised certificate, attendees must successfully complete the pre-course evaluation, practical assessment, and written examinations. Specific details of these assessments will be provided with the course materials.
Physical Requirements:
It is important to note that this CPR element of this course requires a certain level of physical ability to complete practical assessments. All students are required to perform 2 minutes of CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor. Those who are unable due to health or fitness reasons will not receive a nationally accredited certificate. However, a non-accredited certificate of attendance for Provide First Aid in remote or isolated sites can be issued.
Language Skills:
All students must be able to demonstrate an accurate verbal report, as would be required for emergency services or a workplace supervisor.
Upon successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy will be issued. This certification can be utilised to pursue credit transfer towards an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification.
Evaluation for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is carried out through an extensive portfolio of evidence, a workbook, questions, and written scenarios to support your claim for RPL. More details about the RPL procedure will be provided before enrolment by our training assessors.
During this process, both you and your Impact assessor will determine if there are any needs for additional training. Should this be the case, you have the option to undertake this through the completion of specific units, which may incur an additional fee.
