BSBWHS308 Participate in WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control processes (Start anytime) – Self Paced

A Job Safety Analysis (JSA) serves as a safety tool, enabling a systematic examination of specific tasks to identify and evaluate all associated hazards. When needed, it aids in determining appropriate control measures.

The primary objective of a JSA is to document how a particular job should be done safely.

Participants will be trained to perform risk assessments and using that information, develop a JSA.

The curriculum is structured to guide attendees in accurately completing risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA), in accordance with their workplace procedures.

This course acts as an entry point for those who may need to complete JSA’s or risk assessments as part of their normal work duties or want to professionally develop their risk assessment skills and knowledge.

Participants will examine their workplace’s risk assessment process, including risk control measures, consequences, and risk categories. They will learn about the Hierarchy of hazard control and strategies for reducing residual risk.
